Crewel Dimensions Kit by Linda Powell cira 1982 called the Baby Unicorn

Cloth is a cream colored linen which the pattern was stamped onto. Thread/Floss is all DMC the Unicorn is stitched with DMC pearl 5 thread.

This took me a long time to complete mainly b/c I had no pattern at all other than the yellowed with age photo that came with the kit. The instructions are god knows where from all the moves plus a fire, your guess is as good as mine. So I did this by that aged photo from the kit. I changed up the colors of the flowers and the outlines of the unicorn to more "modern" colors as the kit had brown as the outline and the flowers were all just yellow. So I tried to give it some more color, not sure if it was worth but I like it! Sadly this little pattern is going back to the person who gave it to me almost 20 years ago. I hope she likes it, and remembers that I was supposed to return this to her when I was done.
